Cradle-Cage

A pasty decrep sitting on bed’s edge hunched, elbows to knees, crown to cluttered floor, post-coitus. Forgotten piss bottle sits stagnant. Bleary-eyed knuckledrag to clandestine corner store. Thinking about being elsewhere. Dreams of running through rare earth meadows. A one-way ticket; a hesitation wound. Plaster casts of ones-of-kinds. Intentional inconvenience instills avoidance of intimacy. A sonorous bedlam buried inside a cerebral cradle-cage.
